Meetup group intended to explore Washington's craft beer scene. There are plenty of interesting taps around the city and some breweries as well. We'll try to sample some of their wares, and we'll do so in a way that respects the beverage, the craft, and each other (i.e., this is NOT for the binge crowd!). Anyone interested in tasting and learning about a chronically underrated and underestimated craft, and doing so in moderation, is invited to join. We do monthly events, and if you want to mee …

Beer Practice is moving in the direction of meeting EVERY WEEK ON THURSDAY NIGHTS. My goal is for Beer Practice to meet at several different Philadelphia-area bars rotating month-to-month. Three bars that are definitely to be on this rotation are 1. Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore, 2. Barcade Philadelphia in Northern Liberties neighborhood, and 3. Prism Brewing Company in North Wales/Lansdale. These are unique and fun places that share a passion for outstanding, exceptional beers. Beer Pr …

We are a group based in the DC Metro area that love craft beer and trying new things. Beer Snobs need not apply. We meet 2–3 times a month, the first Thursday of each month we meet at Meridian Pint in DC (starting January 2013) and the first Saturday a month we tour a local (or not too distant) brewery. We also have some outdoor activities such as hiking and biking followed by beer, bottle shares, beer dinners, and soon beer classes!
This is a great chance for all beer lovers, home brewers, and meade fans to meet on a weekly basis with the luxury of having Cork & Fork Wine and Beer store as the venue! The best way to learn is to experience, and with beer, the best way to experience is to taste. Every week we will go through new beers, try different styles, chat about what we like and don't like, and generally talk about beer and beer related products.

This group is for those beer lovers who want to go beyond just drinking beer, but creating beer. A meetup to share recipes, techniques, but most of all homebrewed beer. Whether you are a wheat beer lover or a Irish stout drinker, this group welcomes all those who want to dabble in homebrewing.
We at Grapes And Grains believe in learning and tasting wine, beer and whiskey in an unpretentious and fun atmosphere. We're open to anyone interested in tasting whether they are a novice or a connoisseur (newbies, enthusiasts, wine snobs, and cork dorks welcome). Great Times occur around Good Food, Wine and Fun conversations. Our objective is simple: organize affordable, fun tastings and food pairing events in diverse, convenient locations in the Washington DC Metro area to allow our members to …

Love Craft brew? So do we, but we love to make it even more than drinking it (well maybe). Beginner, amateur, novice or thinking of going pro, you are welcome in our homebrew club. We're going to learn about brewing beer, different styles, gadgets, how to taste beer and submit your beer for competition. What we are not, is a social drinking club. We stress education and responsible drinking. You don't have to brew beer to join the club, but once you do, you'll be hooked (so be forewarned). This …
